The Chevrolet Performance COPO Camaro program will return once again for 2014 with another limited production run featuring new racing engine choices.
The 2014 COPO Camaro will also carry over the updated styling on the 2014 Camaro lineup, including the new front and rear fascias. Built by hand, each COPO Camaro is manufactured in Ontario, Canada and each production car features an NHRA-approved roll cage and other safety equipment along with a racing chassis and suspension components.
Though it is sitting on a trailer at the 2013 SEMA Show, the COPO Camaro doesn’t look any less menacing than it would on the track. The new LS-based racing engines include an updated version of the naturally-aspirated 427 engine and the supercharged variant of the 350 engine introduced this year. Both 350 and 396 naturally-aspirated engines are available.
Serial number one of the 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro run will be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson event in Arizona in January. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans.
